Humility!! Let us briefly explore the personality of Humility

Truthfully, Humility as a personality cannot be faked. It is a virtue that comes naturally from within. Humility is simply the freedom from pride or arrogance. Humility does not have a mindset that one's opinions and thoughts are better than that of others. Humility goes hand in hand with selflessness and generosity. Humility is KEY!

The word "Humility" was derived from a Latin word, "Humilis" which means low. Now let's get something clear, the fact that someone is humble does not mean one has a low self esteem. They are two different things. "Low" for humility simply means welcoming the opinion of others, subjecting one's self to corrections, allowing the free flow of what other people think and utilizing them in becoming a better person. Low self esteem on the other hand is lack of confidence in one's self.

It is no news that the opposite of Humility is Pride. We say someone is Humble, We say someone is Proud. The formers are nouns while the latters are verbs. One can never subject a proud man to corrections, it's impossible.

Humility makes sacrifices, Humility makes a Leader wash the feet of his followers, Humility leaves no room for hatred, Humility is not competitive, Humility is like life's super glue, it bonds, Humility is Key, Humility is life. The reason why some people will never succeed in life is the absence of the personality of Humility in them.

I once heard of the story of a young man who once stood up for a Man of God that urgently had to board a particular plane and so someone needed to stand up. The young man stood up and He prayed for Him. Although the man who prayed for him is no longer on earth, his prayers are still very active. Today, the young man who volunteered to stand up out of the many that boarded that plane is ranked as one of the richest men in Africa. Question: what made him stand up? Humility is one of them. Humility is Key! Have you come this far? One thing can bring you down Pride!

Humility sincerely helps others without expecting anything in return or glorying over it. What goes around will definitely come around. A humble person believes that we rise by lifting other but does not intentionally lift others so he can rise, he just does it because that's him! A proud person never wants to lifts others above himself, he helps others with the consciousness of subjecting the person and constantly reminding the person of his place and how he got there through his help, he always glory over every little thing he does.

Humility is disguised Wisdom and Pride is disguised Foolishness.

Life is a network only the Humble are stable, life is a test only the Humble are Scholars. Life is like a Hill, a mountain top. The proud think they should and must be the lead and so they try climbing very fast above the others and they do it alone, forgetting that they may miss a step and fall all the way down without anyone to grab their hands, and since they know it all, they end up climbing all over again, ALONE!
